August brought a new record for Domain Auctions. Out of a total of 13,600 domain names that went through auction, 686 domains were successfully auctioned.

The record number does not mean record prices, however. Quite the opposite: more than half of the auctioned domains (52.19%) sold for no more than 200 CZK. Some attractive domains, however, drew greater interest and dozens of bids.

Highest price: [ radareu.cz ] for 80 128 CZK

The highest price in August was achieved by [ radareu.cz ], which sold for 80,128 CZK. It was followed by [ kontakty.cz ] at 56,000 CZK and [ cycology.cz ] at 34,000 CZK.

The auction for [ kontakty.cz ] attracted the highest number of bidders, with 12 participants competing for the domain. The same number of bidders also took part in the auction for [ gambling.cz ].

August’s statistics confirm that high prices remain the exception in Domain Auctions. More than half of all domains were auctioned for 200 CZK or less.
