Change in the rules: Extension of the deadline for domain registration

Nov. 26, 2025

Effective from November 26th 2025, there will be a change to the Operating Rules of Domain Auctions, specifically Article 8.3.

The deadline for exercising the preferential right to register a domain is extended from 7 to 14 days from the date of payment receipt. The user now has 14 days to register a domain from the moment they pay for the priority right.

The aim of this change is to provide more time to complete the domain registration before it may be included in the next round of the auction.

This change is part of the updated Rules of Operation for Auctions and is binding from 26. 11. 2025

The extension of the registration period applies only to domains that were not paid at the time of the change implementation. If the domain was paid for before the date of November 26, 2025, the original 7-day period applies to it.

The auctions themselves remain unchanged.
